Waterproofing for tiles is what requires certification, not the tile laying!
According to Code of Practice to be allowed to waterproof tiles both the Applicator (i.e. the company), and the Installer (i.e. the person or people) who carry out or supervise the work, must be certified by one of the members of the WMAI.
One of these members and a company whose products we regularly supply, ARDEX New Zealand hosts training sessions for waterproofing up and down the country.
And one of these locations is at our own Palmerston North Showroom!
