Tiled Tranquility
Auckland | Jun 23

We’re calling this look minimalist maximalism – combining the calming neutral tones and a focus on light, bright spaces, with an eclectic collection of textures, this bathroom is definitely the best of both worlds.

Designed by Katie Scott from Sticks + Stones, this bathroom sticks to a very basic colour palette – white tiles, sink and vanity top with a warm copper wood vanity and copper shower and tapware.  Clean lines and minimal décor, paired with plenty of light create a bright open space.
Then you look closer – our Re-Use tile has stunning shuttered concrete visuals and our Fez subway tiles have a handmade effect to them as well as a variety of white shades that adds interest in the sections they are laid.
The wood texture on the vanity pairs perfectly with the shuttered concrete effect and the warm rich colours of sopper contrast beautifully against the warm whites.

Katie has masterfully created a bathroom full of visual interest while still capturing the most appealing aspects of a minimalist design.
